Visit the Tradewinds Educational Farm on the north side of the Park, home to 20 farm animals (cows, sheep, goats, pigs, & chickens). The Farm was developed to reflect the history of farm activities in Broward Co. & to educate the public about native farm animals. FUN-MountainBikeMountain Bike Trails | Daily

The Park’s mountain bike trails (novice & intermediate) are for bicyclists ages 6&up. First-time riders must sign a waiver in the Park office before using the trails. 8am–7pm. $5/daily pass; $25/ annual membership(exp.12/31/13). Radio-Controlled Model Aircraft Flight Lessons |  Daily

The film stars Oscar winner Cate Blanchett as Jasmine, a jet-setting woman who loses all of her money when her husband, played by Alec Baldwin, turns out to be a crook. Open House & Free Dance Classes | Saturday, August 10

Miami-City-BalletMiami City Ballet School is hosting a FREE Open House from 10am–4pm featuring free half hour beginning adult (14&over)ballet, modern dance, jazz classes, creative movement classes for children, Pilates mat class, a tour of the dance studios & placement auditions for the upcoming school year. Boys between the ages of 7 to 9 – who possess musicality, focus, and a natural sense of movement– can audition to earn a scholarship to study at Miami City Ballet School. No prior dance training is necessary. Boys or girls 3–6 yrs. can enroll in the School without having to audition at all. Girls 7–13 who have dance training can audition to enter the School. The goal for this year is 500 skaters. Everyone can make a difference!
