Mom’s Miami River Boat | Saturday, May 11

Celebrate Mother’s Day a day early on a boat ride on the Miami River with Dr. Paul George as he points out drawbridges, hidden neighborhoods, tugboats and the Miami Circle® archaeological site. Mom’s-Day 5K Run/Walk | Sunday, May 12

Plan Ahead Events Greater Miami is pleased to present the multi-city Mom’s Day 5K Run/Walk at Zoo Miami on Mother’s Day. This competitive yet fun and family friendly event is geared towards raising
awareness and funds for the Zoo Miami Conservation Fund. The certified and timed race allows you to run, jog or walk among the many wonderful animals and plants found throughout Zoo Miami. Afternoon Tea | Sunday, May 12

Spanish Galleon: Viva Florida 500 | Tuesday–Sunday, May 14 –19

Celebrating Florida’s 500th anniversary, travel back in time as you step aboard & tour, El Galeón, a Spanish galleon from when Juan Ponce de Leon first came to La Florida in 1513. Pompano Beach Fishing Rodeo | Wednesday – Saturday, May 15 –18

The third weekend in May continues its long standing tradition as “Rodeo Weekend,” and officially kicks
off on Wednesday evening with a party & captain’s meeting. Friday & Saturday morning, millions of dollars
worth of boats with hundreds of anxious anglers check out of Hillsboro, Boca & Port Everglades Inlets determined to “roundup” fish to win the prizes & glory.
