All Kids Included Family Art Festival | Saturday, May 4

A full day of activities & cultural experiences for children with & without disabilities. Highlights include; Spencer’s Theatre of Illusion; Riley Roam as the “World Famous Storyologist” & former Ringling Bros. clown Kenny Mikey, as her bumbling assistant; “Zot Artz-Arts for All” painting & printmaking with artist/inventor Dwayne Szot; and Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces. 10am–5pm. Relay for Life – American Cancer Society | Saturday, May 4

The journey to end cancer starts with a single step. Take that step by joining the global Relay For Life movement. When you walk to end cancer at a Relay event, it’s your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors & remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well and raise money to help end cancer. Drum & Dance Festival | Saturday, May 4

Youth Arts Day & Music Fest | Sunday, May 5

A day long series of youth performance art from 10am– 4pm at the Deering Estate at Cutler. Spend the entire day & enjoy youth artwork, as well as musical & theatrical performances from students & organizations! Children can paint on easels & create dance streamers. Child(Grades K–12)/Free; Adult/$12. Spain-Florida Celebration | Monday, May 6

In honor of the 500th anniversary of Ponce de León’s arrival in Florida the Spain-Florida Foundation is proud to welcome to Miami, the third largest tall ship in the world, the Spanish Naval training vessel Juan Sebastian de Elcano. The ship will dock at Bicentennial Park from Wednesday–Monday, May 1–6 for daily tours. Monday concludes with a Paella Festival held in front of the ship.
